My Besties Gift box

 I started with a gift box pattern from Heartfelt TT . I cut it down from 4 inches to 3 inches
The image is My Besties Skater

 Her head band is cut out and popped separately on two layers of the full image

I used mesh behind the image and added die cut flourish

The trim on the skirt and her head band are covered with Glitter Liner

Now I shop to buy goodies to fill it

Emboss Bleach Color

This was a challenge for me At first I took emboss to mean a folder ( read the instructions first )
I embossed with folder and bleached out the image I will show you my attempts at the end
Now let us do it together HEAT EMBOSS  the image , bleach the wanted areas then color > I left the jacket and hat as it turned out when bleached colored the nose and mittens and used flocking on the fur

As Promised

Tree in burlap
This is number 1 of the 6 trees I do each year
I used to get all 6 done in two days
Not happening now since my bad hand
 and two broken legs I seemed to have slowed down not by choice
But it is still fun

Geletos

 This TT on Geletos made me so curious I wasn't sure what they are so I went and got some
The TT calls for you to apply the geletos to an acrylic block mist and use a paint brush  I did the back gound on water color paper with the geletos and heat embossed the  MFP snow flake mini set  to make the Christmas card  http://mfpspeedytv.blogspot.com  I have watched some You tube on the product and it can be ( will be ) used in mayn ways .

Burgundy Gold Green

Burgundy Gold Green  I used gold embossing powder burgundy mulberry paper  under the MFP images and green background   this is a fun group of colors to work with

Butterfly Ornament

I was shopping for burlap decorations  today. I want to do one of my trees in burlap
I found butterfly ornaments but oh my the price ( sure didn't sound like a price for burlap
So ............I have a roll of 6 inch lace covered burlap and one plain that I will never use that much opn my cards Also I have a spellbinder die of a butterfly that I never used because it is too big for a card
So here we go

This is the start of something Thrifty  Next week I will let you see  the finished tree.

I stamped two images colored and cut the hat and deer out of the second one .

 I could beat out the Big Box stores and start Valentines with this sweetie but it is a birthday card

My bow was made on bow Easy  and i added threaded buttons ( pat on the back for that accomplished I colored with both copic and prisma

I chose AND or I would have just a piece of black card to show you 

I used three  coordinating prints and trimmed with black flowers

I had 6 pearls and decided to use them , well that is why they call these challenges 

I have a disabled hand and the pearls were attached together very closely 

when I clipped of the pearl it stuck to my hand protector  and trying to get that off 

was like watching a circus but don't kick this dog twice OH but I did 

three times  then the fifth pearl cut off easily and went right where I needed it while the sixth flew across my desk and stuck firm to the window 

When I finally got it off I had to use glue to adhere it to the card 

This card was a challenge

Re Invent an embossing folder

For Challenge 238  mfpstampshop.blogspot.com we are asked to use a folder on an angle .
I used the banner which is designed to go across the top of the page and put it on the diagonal Added the MFP stamps and made a birthday card for the DINO lover
