Embossed buttons

Inspired by a button challenge I decided to do this card
I will not be in the challenge but thought you all might like my idea
And I will visit http://www.wordartwednesday.blogspot.com/
First I glued the buttons to the card stock
I let it dry over night  then used the embossing buddy
If you look too close or enlarge you will see that didn't work out so well
I applied the versamark embossing pad over all the buttons 
I used three EP powders one at a time
It takes at least three layers to get the coverage I like

Flower Pot

I simply cut the pot shape and added the rim with foam dots

Using Old Photo

 Make use of old photos pull out the memories .
this photo is from a friends back yard always in the
 bucket list to go see it in person , this place is no
 longer hers so I will share her gorgeous spot with all of you
I cut the photo out with a die, rubbed it with distress ink
rub watercolor paper with green ink and put the whole card together
The saying is from Bearded Iris (June) MFP

Color challenge #32

This card is for my brother who is in hospital with congestive heart failure
 His wife of 60+ year followed him within a week with a heart attack
We are praying for both of them and are told they are both doing as is expected

MINI BOOK

When I looked at this tutorial #105 http://mfpspeedytv.ning.com

 I said "not is a million years , not me " I got out my cardstock

and oh my gosh in minutes it was together .

 The rest was fun , tags banners sayings.  I am not sure it is

 exactly as shown but it is lovely I am going to use it in a swap

 The stamp set I used is Pretty Pears MFP

Red Blue Pink

Color challenge 30 http://mfpspeedytv.ning.com this was a color challenge fore me not colors I normally put together but it worked out really nice with the stamp from Flower block MFP. come over and show us what you put together.

Vintage

Aside from the lovely vintage stamps from MFP I antiqued this card by rubbing with distress ink and I scored the edge with that little tool with the blade in it  I should have done that to all the layers but didn't think about it until it was all assembled Maybe you will do better  http://mfpspeedytv.ning.com

Purple, green yellow

These are really fun colors to work with I choose the large frog from Tree Frog Set (May)
Used a die for the yellow and added tiny bows.

Magic Tape Life

I used the wrong tape for this technique but it turned out so nice I didn't try a second time  Go to http://mfpspeedytv.ning.com All you do is lay the tape on the ink pad  ( I used distressed Ink) lift and transfer it to your card stock . Easy

No Designer Paper
