I know it won't keep the cow in but she is headed for the barn before it storms
The back ground is done with chalks.

This is Resist Technique
There are several very easy steps you can find in Tutorials
I used the MFP stamp set" Umbrellas and Fans" and the background is "Butterfly Essence"
I am showing two photos because you can see the clear embossing better on the second photo

For this SKETCH I used an oriental pond folder on handmade paper touched the koi with a little gold color

This is a very interesting technique the image from stamp set MFP 'LUCKY YOU "
is stamped on card stock and a rectangle is cut around it leaving a portion to be cut in shape ( head)
Then adhered on the background and squiggled around the whole maybe that makes some sense but you can find it in tutorials "Center Block"

Good Grief I was concerned that the "orange behind the image and behind the yellow wasn't going to be orange and the scan is making it closer to purple PURPLE YELLOW AND ORANGE I choose the stamp from the MFP set Buddha colored with copic markers and embellished with stickers and dies cuts.
