To make background I selected this gift wrap tissue
Crinkle it up
Dampen and crumple more
Straighten the paper but not too smooth
Let dry before moving on
Attach paper to card stock
I find a glue stick works well
Paint with Mod Podge
Try not to make the surface too smooth
Once dry cut to size
Make your wonderful card
I am anxious to see what the rest of the team came up with

This looks fun, and what a super way to use up some of the patterned tissue paper that sometimes comes as wrapping with craft orders (which I've finally tossed out!) I like the patterns combined behind this sweet puppy. What a lovely hand texture you've created! Well done! (shared your pretty card on the blog tonight). Hugs
ReplyDeleteLove the cute puppy and great background no need even to paint-funnily enough I was just sorting out all my tissue papers last night and debating whether to keep it all
