SF&F Challenge 221

This was a challenge . Stamp background with acrylic block. Well I think if I stamp a bg it is generally with a block , so I wanted to do something original but nothing worked
First I tried ink directly on the block Trust me it was not good .
Then I used alcohol inks on the block  uh uh  I then tried to  die cut a flower on easy mount but the die wouldn't cut through It did however leave an imprint

So I trimmed around it with scissors and adhered it to the block
I am showing this stage so you can see the background before I add embellishments

The banner and lace butterfly is printed on the matt so I cut around it and slipped my bg under it  Added the embellishments and the saying from Pretty Pears MFP
Come to http://marksfinestpapers.blogspot.com and challenge yourself to try this
The stamp set that is up for grabs is Happy Easter

After I did the above I had success with the failure at the beginning  I used Dylusional inks on the block turned the cardstock face down and used the brayer I like the finished work I used the MFP Coneflower stamp set
