Workshop

 
Went to a wonderful watercolor workshop 
Did several projects shown here
 
First above using the paint pods simply washed two cards one in red
 one in green
From the red we die cut poppies  and hearts and
from the green the stem



Then we did the "running or drip'' background to adhere the flower on
The hearts (which I can't move up from the bottom) are on a separate card.


 Next we used distress inks on an acetate and smooched the card stock
we practiced first then did it on a card that had already the heart sticker

Now on to markers  The image is embossed
we were shown to place the color to the center a drag it with a water brush
This part I had no problem with
Then she made us splatter over the finished pieced
I should not have done that step

  1. Bet this was a fun class. The cards are wonderful, and I like the 'drippy' background for these pale poppies. Your spatters are great too. I'm not that good with 'smooshing' on acetate, and it always looks so easy. I'd say you've mastered what you learned! TFS &Hugs
