LCC Stars andd Stripes

The July challenge is  SURPRISE  Stars and Stripes

This card is A2  Layered Red White and Blue

Lady Liberty is standing tall surrounded with stars

LCC Punches

The challenge at http://letscreatechallenges.blogspot.co.uk/ is to use punches

I used two punches and a die

First the die cut the edge and the two punches cut the circles
The smaller is stamped with the dog and colored with copic
It is popped with foam dots
A ribbon is added
                   AND VOILA

COUPONS

 A friend came across FREE envelopes at a yard sale
Thinking of me she took them and passed them to me
They are not a size  I would use in card making so I came up with this
This one is for her

I made the folder with two layers of heavy card stock
Putting them together so they would fold over the envelopes
I glued 6 envelopes together to make the pockets
Decorated the front one and added cards to each pocket  (index )
With tabs

I used a die to shape the front edge and a bit of valcro to hold it closed
Hope she likes it when I get it to her

I have enough envelopes to  make 50 of these  ANYBODY?????????

LCC Lace

Most of my stamps are  rubber  so I don't have company  names

This sweet bunny is dressed in apron colored with copic

Since the challenge is LACE or Ribbon you can see what I did

LCC Through the Window

These children are from two ART IMPRESSION sets
I wall papered  the room with a  print
The window frame is an altered die piece
the kitten is also a die
I am not sure if her friend just brought her the basket of
or she is giving it to him
Either way it is cute

Easter Bag

An Easter bag for a sweet little neighbor 

Inside is a flower pot soil and seeds 

Then all the goodies a 12 yr old is looking for 

My hope is she will plant the seeds and enjoy the flowers for a few months

This delightful stamp is Sparkle N Sprinkles
Colored with copic markers
 the back panel is popped with foam tape
The yarn is glued to it before the rabbit is attached

Gelli Pad

I received a beautiful card from my British pen pal 

When I asked about it she sent links for me to see the technique

I had most of the supplies but not  the main piece A ROUND GELI PAD 

So like all crafters

I put on the thinking cap and decided I could make the technique work with templates 

So I got everything out 

Cut the template with a circle die

                                         
                                              Applied the in with brayer to the gelli pad

Stamped on the gelli pad 

Then laid  the template over the area I want to use

                                                           That may not be clear .
                                             The images at the bottom are the stamps I used

                                                 
                                   

 Smooth the cardstock over the template to transfer the ink design on to the cs

                                                             I added the fairies not on geli plate 

Mothers Day

This is a delightful die 

Very easy card but lovely 

Of course it could be used over any color and for many occasions

LCC Love is in the Air

All dreamy and creamy

I used a soft rose for the frame matte and die cut
The frame is popped on foam tape
The background is Cuttlebug embossing folder Tiny Hearts
I added flowers and pearls

This card is done without stamps

the inner piece with the trees is done with a folder

The trees were dusted in chalk

The next layer is a die cut raised with foam dots

Of course the little deer are a die cut

Attach the flower and I have a pretty Christmas card

Okay I know it is Nov 5 so I had better get Halloween out of the picture
The scene of this  card is made with an embossing folder
Colored with distress inks on a dabber and copic markers
The Halloween figures hiding are from a mini set of Marks Finest Papers

LCC Spooky

I had a little struggle with the theme Spooky

I tried Halloween but they all seemed too cutsy

So back to the drawing board

Still Halloween but much darker a theme

I stamped and colored with copic

Then used webbing  over the finished piece

Asked around the  house and it seems to be spooky

HURRICANE PROJECT

This little darling is blowing her bubbles 

A perfect way to play when you are alone

So I chose to make this card for the Child Play Ch

At   LCC

I did the background in chalk

Die cut the circles which are very mush like bubbles

Added the clouds

The image is colored with copic markers and

hand cut She is foam mounted

I aged and torn edged the background
