                                            I used the MFP Stamp Set Umbrellas and Fans
                                                  The band is a Reflections  paper cut
                                      The lantern is a punch  on   corrugated card stock

FOSTV 163 Creatures in the Night

It took some thinking to come up with Creatures in the Night with the MFP stamps I have 

I used stamps from "What a Scream" MFP set

First I used the Haunted House Folder  on black card stock

                               Using sponges I rubbed gray silver and white until I got a look I felt spooky
                                   I  cut out the cat and saying and adhered then the google eyes
                                                         If it scares the cat I am good

I used stamps from the MFP Tigers setI cut the tiger out and popped with foam dots 

used a Memory box die for the word and added brads

FOSTV 162 Tri Fold

You will have fun making this TriFold for the challenge this week on friend of speedy TV 

I used the MFP set Black eyed Susan I stamped colored and cut out several of the flowers and arranged them on the panels
I use washi  tape along the edge on both sides 

The most work in this card is the cutting out and I am sure it could be done without that step 

Show us how you would do a tri fold 

SF&F 257 Gold Embossed Background

                           I used a different method than the wonderful TT Pat has for you
                                               I used stamps from MFP Pandas
                 I first used the smooth side of the stamp to put the embossing ink circles
             on the card stock I lightly gold embossed a few and gelato colored the others
                           I then covered all of them with yellow gelato  in that area
            Then I did several layers of Ultra thick EP and covered that with a top layer of gold
             using the panda stamp covered in embossing ink I pressed it into the warm EP
                       The bamboo circle is gold embossed directly on the card stock

                                I am sure you would enjoy the TT Pat has
                                      or you have a method of your own

                                            This Besties Boy is easy for me to call CAS
                                              I have not the slightest desire to frill it up
                                                         He is sweet the way he is

                         I used MFP Stamp set Koi Fish and followed the sketch provided
                        Stamped colored (copic markers) and cut out the pieces to assemble

All I did with Messy Bessy was color with copics and cut out
Kept it a simple as possible and still call it a card
I love that Bestie is the most importants part of the card , not buried in flowers, bows and gems
However you can't stop me from doing that with this card after the challenge

                                                       Okay! Here we go it is SPRING
                              Spring to me is the purple robe and the yellow chicks of Easter
                                       So I chose to use MFP Bearded Iris set to create this card

FOSTV 160 Under the Sea

UNDER THE SEA

At  FOSTV this week the theme for your card is Under the Sea 

I chose stamps from the MFP set Birds of the Orient 

I have had the "waves" in my stash for  well forever and never found a way to use them until today

I am sure those birds know what is under the sea 

I adhered the waves colored the sky with gelatos and stamped and placed the birds

SFF 255 Butterflies

                     The challenge at SF&F is to make a birthday card adding butterflies
                                                          I am using a technique from a
                                                 Make and Take by Just For Fun at Stampfest

The background is a tree section paint chip  

Then the image is stamped several times and simply scribbled over with three colors using the chisel end of the markers

The images are each fussy cut 

             and assembled in such away to cover the print and /or openings on the paint chip

                             I used MFP KOI stamps  and the Oriental embossing folder

                HERE is an interesting challenge It is to make handmade flowers for your card
                                                 I colored my background with chalk
        guessing where to place the sky water and mountain because I used MT Fuji MFP stamp set
                                            Once stamped I added quilled flowers and leaves

ssf 253 Four Layers

The CHALLENGE this week is to make a card with at least four layers
I know you can do that
Since  I am thrifty I punched the flowers from the back cardstock and the flourish from the pink
the image is from the MFP stamp set Big Cupcake  before I layered

Oriental Sketch 69 Pandas

The first sight of this sketch I knew I wanted to do two Panda bears  I have the Panda stamp set so what is the problem 

The problem is I want the second bear to be small and I don't have a small panda MFP stamp 

I look through everything I have and spotted the Chinese Take out 

I didn't want a half a bear but he is the right size

I decided to cut him out and a second set of arms which I arranged to create a whole baby Panda

This week the challenge is to use numbers I cut the number with my cricut
I used the MFP stamp set Big Cupcake
I punched the bottom of the print layers added the ribbon
 and placed the embellishment i thought the two year old would enjoy

Speedy Fox and Friends 252 Flower Pot

This was fun to make and I think our granddaughter will like it 

The MFP stamp set is Black Eyes Susan  

I cut the flower pot on the Cricut and popped the top section after punching the edge I sponged the edge and added the ribbon  

It is assembled on a Garden folder background 

    

                              The saying is also from thre is a chance to become out guest designer

                                           This farm scene is MFP stamp set County Charm
                                       The challenge HERE is to use a fence , I used MS punch
                       I know it won't keep the cow in but she is headed for the barn before it storms
                                             The  back ground is done with chalks.
